Central Asia is a region located at the heart of Asia. This is an unusual land full of mysteries between Middle East and Asia. Central Asia is a historically rich region, the hearth of ancient civilizations, native land of great thinkers and the main crossroads of the ancient Silk Road.
This area is populated mostly representatives of Turkic ethnical groups who speak Turkic languages. These are: Uzbeks, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, Kara kalpaks. Another ethnic group that lives for a long time in Central Asia is - Tajiks and they are representatives of the Iranian ethnical group and speak Tajik language which close to Persian language.
This region includes following countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
